Adam Pretty will chair the jury of the “Projects&Portfolios” section
Acclaimed australian professional photographer Adam Pretty joins the super-jury of URBAN Photo Awards 2024 with the task of choosing the Winner of the Projects & Portfolios section. Together with Harry Gruyaert and Paul Gadd, Pretty will be one of the main guests of Trieste Photo Days 2024 festival, where he will personally award the winner of the Projects & Portfolios section during the award ceremony of the contest, Saturday 27 October 2024 at the Auditorium of the Revoltella Museum.
Adam Pretty will also contribute as Special Guest Author in this year’s sport themed open call PLAY! – Let the Game Begin promoted by Exhibit Around and will attend Trieste Photo Days (24-27 October 2024) presenting the results of the project.

Adam Pretty, an expert in photography planning and design, is renowned as one of the most innovative and influential sports photographers. He began his career as a photojournalist in Australia before transitioning to Getty Images, driven by his passion for sports photography. Throughout his career, he has worked in Sydney, Los Angeles, Beijing, and Tokyo, and currently resides in Munich. Pretty has captured numerous professional sporting events, including several Olympics and the Doha Aquatics Championships in February 2024, earning 64 international awards.
