Camila Falquez
Photographer and director Camila Falquez’s creative point of view is shaped by her background in ballet and contemporary dance. She is inspired by the human body and sees its movement through space as a kind of universal language. Falquez has shot for labels including Nike, Barneys, Kanebo, Louis Vuitton and Hermès, as well as for publications such as WSJ, Spanish Vogue, Teen Vogue, The Last Magazine, Sleek and Purple. Her debut solo exhibition Body of Work was shown at Picture Farm Gallery in New York City, and featured work from her travels to Paris, the United States, Colombia and Senegal. Falquez was born in Mexico, grew up in Barcelona and now resides in Brooklyn, New York City.
