“I’m 37 and I live in Amiens, Somme, France. I have a Phd in human physiology and I work in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. I have been practicing photography for 3 years now, although I fell into the cauldron when I was a child: my dad is now a retired photographer. So here’s how I grew up, with the smell of chemicals, the shutter snap or the purr of his roller transport print processor… Though photography has become a passion for only two years. I then felt the need to create, to express myself.
I like to capture the fleeting, the subtle, the beautiful, the rare, the spectacular, the staggering… to reveal how the daily and the ordinary can be filled with enthusiasm. My work is very heterogeneous. I use and associate many photographic techniques (DRI, HDR, panoramic, vertorama, long exposure…), image renditions (color, B&W, infrared…) and different themes (landscape, macro, light-painting, architecture, industry…). What’s common is maybe the visual rendition: I like sharp constrasts (light and colors) and dense outcomes”.
