The renewed Gallery section now offers permalinks to the ranked photos and projects: Selected Photographers, Semi-Finalists, Finalists and Winners of the last few years can therefore share their works directly from the URBAN website.

Jury. The first important names in the 2022 jury have already been confirmed: Nino Migliori (Italian photography legend), Jérôme Sessini (documentary photographer, member of the Magnum Photos agency), Alexandra Sophie (photographer and fashion illustrator), Manfred Baumann (internationally renowned portraitist, Leica photographer), Nick Turpin (pioneer of contemporary street photography) and Susan Meiselas, one of the most influential documentary photographers in the world and president of the Magnum Foundation. More jurors will be announced shortly.

New Buildings 2022. The partnership with Matrix4Design magazine has been confirmed for the third year in a row, with which the New Buildings special prize will be launched as part of URBAN, dedicated to the icons of architecture that have changed the face of cities over the last ten years.

Juror Susan Meiselas is also involved in another project that will lead to Trieste Photo Days: WOW: Worlds of Women. A collective photographic tribute to women, the female universe and the thousand galaxies that populate it. WOW which will give life to a photographic book and a large collective exhibition. Open call until March 8 on the wow.exhibitaround.com website.
