URBAN 2019, new “Trieste Museums” prize for two selected projects
A new, important exhibition is added to the rich prize pool of URBAN 2019, thanks to the partnership with the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste.
Two Semifinalists projects will be selected by a special jury and exhibited from October 22nd to November 10th 2019 at the prestigious Civic Museum “Sartorio” of Trieste, during Trieste Photo Days festival.
The projects will be chosen by Laura Carlini Fanfogna, director of the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste and Claudia Colecchia, head of the Photo Library and Libraries of the Civic Museums of the Municipality of Trieste.
This award represents a new institutional recognition for the URBAN competition and an unmissable opportunity for the competitors to see their works exhibited in a museum of the highest level.
Selected authors will also be awarded with a free 1 night stay in Trieste to attend URBAN’s Award Ceremony at Trieste Photo Days 2019 festival.
Trieste Photo Days will also host the Winners Exhibition and the Award Ceremony, where the President of the Jury Martin Parr will crown the winner overall.
Submissions open until June 9th, 2019.
