URBAN 2020 prize-exhibitions in Trieste, Italy, and Poreč, Croatia
Only a few days left until March 1st, first subscription day for the 2020 edition of URBAN Photo Awards! In the meantime, we are pleased to confirm two important prizes offered by our institutional partners.
This year as well the Poreč Museum (Croatia), historical partner of URBAN, will offer the usual prize-exhibition for 3 projects ranked in the “Projects & Portfolios” section. The projects will be selected by the director of the Museum Elena Uljančić, to be exhibited from 24th July to 30th August 2020 (period in which the tourist resort reaches 120,000 visitors). In addition, 1 best author will be selected who will be rewarded with a 2-night free stay in Trieste to participate in the URBAN award ceremony during Trieste Photo Days 2020.
The prize-exhibition “Civic Museums of Trieste” has also been confirmed for the second year in a row, thanks to the partnership with the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste.
The prize-exhibition will show 4 projects selected by Laura Carlini Fanfogna (director of the Museums and Libraries Service of the Municipality of Trieste) and Claudia Colecchia (Head of the Photographic Library of the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste). The exhibition will be held at the end of October at the prestigious “Civico Museo Sartorio”, as part of the Trieste Photo Days festival. Also in this case, 1 best author will be selected who will be rewarded with a free stay of 2 nights during Trieste Photo Days 2020.

The eleventh edition of URBAN will be held from March 1 to May 31, 2020. The Early Birds promotion expires on March 31, 2020.
